Passion Story of the Month|March

Happy Sunday Classy Crew! How have you guys been? Good? Bad? So-so?

Well I hope the month of March has treated you guys well, but now it's time to say goodbye and wave hello to April (Prom Season)!! Tbh, I miss prom SO MUCH--I still suffer from prom withdrawals🤣🤣 BUT if you are going to prom in April or even in May, let me know down below in the comments--WHAT COLOR DRESS/SUIT ARE YOU WEARING??  Honestly, picking out my dress was one of the highlights of my prom, especially since I had mine handmade! I highly recommend it if you cannot find a dress you like in stores (it was actually A LOT cheaper than buying a dress at a shop!!)

Okay, I'm getting off topic...

Like usual, I like to celebrate the end of a month and the beginning of a new month with a Passion Story! This month's Passion Story writer is Michael McGarvey.

I met Michael last semester in my First Year Writing class and we've been friends ever since then. He's such a kind and sarcastically witty person with a passion for youth ministry or pastoral care/an interest in non-profit work and he is a fellow blogger too!! AND HE JUST STARTED A YOUTUBE CHANNEL, so be sure to support and subscribe to him (*links down below*).

So without further ado...

Q: How did you go about developing your passion(s)/becoming more skilled in it/them?
A: "I found my nursing passion through helping my grandmothers while they were hospitalized and I pursued it through taking medical classes in high school. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant during my senior year, and I'm able to work with the aging population whenever I'd like. I found my passion for sharing the Gospel through helping out with my church's youth group and children's ministry. I also preached on occasion throughout high school. I would love to be a RN and a youth director."

Q: Do you plan to include your passion(s) into your future career?
A: "yes! i am in nursing school at the moment and plan on returning to school to get a degree in religion."

Q: What advice do you have for someone who finds your story or passion(s) inspiring?
A: "Find your passion! You were placed on this earth with a purpose to fulfill your passions. Find them, pursue them, and embrace them."

Q: How would you define "staying classy"?
A: "Staying classy means holding true to your morals and values and encouraging others to be true to themselves. It's realizing that you are different than others, and that is ok. Embrace others and yourself. "
