Behind the Blog//Get To Know Me Pt.1

"Askin' all them questions. Askin' all them questions. Why you askin' all them questions...making statements...ASSUMING!" Does anyone else remember that song from YouTube? No? Just me?

Well anyways, I feel like you deserve to get to know the person behind the blog. If we're going to go on this "stay classy" journey together, I think you should get to know who I am. So, I decided to do a little Q & A for you guys.  I asked a bunch of my friends to send me random questions to answer. Some are fun and out-of-the-box while some are thought-provoking and deep. They sent me a TON of questions, so there will be a pt.2 and pt. 3 coming soon. Without further a do...

      Basics:
name: Jasmine
birth sign: Leo
fave color: blue
fave ice cream flavor: cookies n' cream

Q: What is something you do that you think no else does?
A: This was a hard question to answer. I'm sure other people do this as well but every time I use paper towels to dry my hands, I roll out or wave my hand by the censor so a paper towel can be available for the next person.

Q: How many pets have you had?
A: I don't know the exact number, but my little sister and I had a bunch of fish when we were younger. Unfortunately, we had to give quite a few toilet goodbyes because we travelled a lot and I don't think the automatic feeder worked properly.

Q: If you could have a million dollars, what would you do with it?
A: I would first use it towards paying for college then buy something my parents have always wanted because they always make sacrifices for my sister & I and they deserve to be spoiled. Then, I would book a paid trip to explore all of Europe and donate the rest to charities and organizations because if I have been blessed with this amount of money, I believe I should share my blessing with others.

Q: What's the craziest thing you wanna do in life?
A: I want to travel the world as much as my wallet will allow me😉 hehe. My parents have inspired my interest for travelling and I have always wanted to experience other cultures and see what makes them unique, especially Europe. Paris and Rome are definitely at the top of my list!

Q: Which of the four seasons do you love the most?
A: Fall. Hands down. I LOVE IT! It's such a comforting and beautiful time of year. You get to see the leaves transform into these gorgeous red, yellow, and orange colors and wear chunky knit sweaters, boots, cute scarves, and plaid. You also can drink hot chocolate and go to a local pumpkin patch (still sad I didn't go this past fall but there's always this fall!).

Q: What's your favorite meal of the day?
A: Brunch. I think breakfast and lunch are delicious by themselves, but when you put them together...OH MAN! I made a waffle burger over the summer and it was yummy!! Can't wait to share it on the blog once I perfect the recipe.

Q: If you could be in any movie for the rest of your life, what movie would it be?
A: I would be in the movie Twitches. How cool would it be to have a twin and magical powers? Plus, they were able to teleport between different worlds! With magic like that, I would never be late again.

Q: Glasses or no glasses?
A: Glasses. I am a fellow four-eyed person and I am absolutely not ashamed of it. I like wearing glasses. I think it adds a little to my personality and appearance.

Q: What's the craziest thing you've done over the weekend?
A: Over Thanksgiving Break, my school's marching band had the honor to travel to Hawaii in honor of the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. During the weekend, we got a chance to climb an inactive volcano called Diamond Head. I've never hiked before, but it was totally worth it because the view was AMAZING!!! (video of my experience will be posted eventually)

Q: If you had to fight a bear in the woods, but could only use stuff related to Christmas to defend yourself, what would you use?
A: This is by far the most creative question I've had, so I had to come up with a creative answer. My answer: Christmas cookies. WHO wouldn't like Christmas cookies?? I think the bear is still probably mad that Goldilocks ate its family's porridge, so I'm hoping the cookies will make up for that problem and mend their burning bridge.

Q: What's an accomplishment you're proud of regardless of what it is?
A: Appreciating my natural hair. In middle school, I never really liked my hair because it was frizzy, comb-breaking tangled, and it didn't look like any of my friends' hair. I used to wish my hair was straight like my friends, but now I've learned how to care for my hair and appreciate the beautiful mess it is.😊

I wanna thank my friends real quick for sending me those questions...you know who you are😉. If you wanna answer those questions yourself, comment them down below and I would LOVE to read your responses.

Have a great day and don't forget to "stay classy".😊
